Our new Pregnancy Exercise Classes will take place three times a week -
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - at 10:15 a.m. in West Hollywood.
This class was designed in 2003 in the San Francisco Marina studio and
has been going strong there ever since.

Burr
writes, "Studies have shown that regular exercise during pregnancy
decreases backaches and discomfort due to swollen feet, makes women
less likely to gain excessive weight, decreases the risk of diabetes,
and improves mood and self-esteem. Babies of pregnant women who
exercise have been found as a group to be leaner, calmer and generally
healthier at birth. Then there is the moral support attending an
exercise class with other pregnant women provides."
Brand new
students who are already pregnant can start at Bar Method in these
Pre-Natal Classes. The new students will then have the
option either of attending those specialty classes for their entire
pregnancy or, after taking at least five Pre-Natal Classes, of going
into the regular Mixed or Level 1 Classes.

stretching exercise classes are safe for you to take while pregnant.
