“I started the Bar Method shortly before I became pregnant with my second child. I did the prenatal classes during most of my pregnancy. I was able to keep my weight within a healthy range, while toning my arms, thighs and butt at the same time. The flexibility benefits were amazing. I believe it prevented me from suffering sciatic pain which I had with my first pregnancy. 

My energy level was also improved. I looked and felt great. I believe it conditioned me for my delivery. I pushed my baby out in 20 minutes! My nurse said I was as strong as a twenty-one year old. I had had a C-section for my first baby. Everyone thought my baby was going to be small because I looked really great, with a basketball belly. Even my doctor was surprised when my son weight 8.6 lbs.

I started again and the results I’ve seen thus far [after five month] have been amazing. I’m down to my pre-pregnancy weight and down from a size 8 to a size 4. I’ve lost 15 lbs. But the real proof for me is the feedback I’ve gotten from so many people….Following my first pregnancy at this time I was a size 12!! I was not exercising regularly. My thighs, butt and abs were flabby and had lots of cellulite. I did not change my diet. I still enjoy all of my favorite foods. I’m from New Orleans where we love to eat. I do the Bar Method about 3 times a week. I’m a full time stay at home mom. It’s the one thing I get to do for myself. I love it. I have never loved exercise.

Anyone who has tried it knows it works. We all know it’s hard. We are all addicted to how good it makes you look and feel.”
